Well I seriously hope EA doesn’t ruin Playfish games. EA is a greedy corporation that forces games out before they’re finished. I’m all for people getting what they deserve for their efforts, but add a large corporation into the equation and it usually adds a giant “Greedy Old White Tool” cost factor.

OHHH EA might shift loads of games but as most people know the pc versions require at least 3-5 patches and bug fixes even then you are very lucky if you get a half decent game. Just incase you think i am blowing hot air out my rear. All the medal of honour series ,allied assault,spearhead,breakthrough,Paciffic assault,Airborne, Battlefield series of games pick anyone of them all left buggy and letting the gamer down. Hope this wont be the end of playfish.

Congratulations, you really deserve all the success, and perks that come with That success. Hopefully it will not change the wonderfully friendly social nature of your games. Your games would work well now platforms the Wii are also potentially perfect for social gaming such as P’S or Crazy Planets.

EA has a history folks. Why not go and have a look at it first before being so quick to applaud this. It’s not as rosy as some of you seem to think. I just hope that Playfish retains some autonomy and doesn’t become a little fish devoured by a large corporate shark. For the sake of the games like Pet Society that I have grown to love, I hope I’m proven wrong.

I do not love this. I certainly hope, however, that any changes will be for the better. You guys have been pretty good about listening to your users thus far. Hopefully, that part of your business doesn’t get swallowed up by EA’s corporate machine.
(I also love how half the people here seem to think you guys have anything to do with Sims and Spore, as if you have control over games that have had nothing to do with PF lol )

Usually i would be happy, but, what i’m worried is that PlayFish will change our PetSociety and Restaurant City’s designs, playing ways or even everything that we earned!
Let’s hope that EA doesn’t ruin PlayFish. PlayFish is doing a really good job. So i hope that EA wont force us to pay for PlayFish games. I can guess what they will do is 20% leaving PlayFish alone, 30% allow PlayFish to think up ways of improving the games themselves and 50% of completely controlling PlayFish.
I should be happy for PlayFish, but at the same time i’m worried. Let’s hope that EA wont be as greedy as our friend “Ben” here says as.
PlayFish, i hope you did the right choice, but if there’s anything i said wrong here or made you pissed off, then i’m sorry but i’m only telling the truth.
But i hope PlayFish will add Sims to Facebook Applications. I really liked it. So let’s hope you add it alright guys?

Great this is all we need EA joining forces with Playfish- i wonder how long it will take before we have to pay to use these games? EA is notorious for trying to make money out of anything and ANYone who owns a ps3 will know this! The amount of rubbish games EA pushes through just to make some cash is ridiculous.. Wow cant wait to see how they ruin this for everyone.

I love how you guys deleted my comment about GREEDY EA’s rotten business practices and why EA’s acquiring of Playfish may be a bad thing…
I’ll tell you know, that ever since I heard this new of EA acquiring Playfish, I regretted buying items in Restaurant city.
I’m never going to spend another dollar on Restaurant City or any Playfish game now that its connected to greedy EA.

WOW! EA and Playfish are both awesome. EA is a video game company and Playfish is a computer game company. Since they merged. I think it’s a good idea. Pet Society, Resturant City, Conutry Story, Crazy Planets, Who Has The Biggest Brain etc. should be for Wii, Nintendo DS and other major console and handhelds. Playfish and/or EA will be a devloper for Playfish games while EA is the publisher of these games.
